Bangladesh Secures there First T20 Match Win in the Caribbean Island

Bangladesh winning a great significant milestone by winning their first ever T20 series in the Caribbean Island, the West Indies team lost by 27 runs in the second match of the three series. The cricket match held at the Arnos Vale Stadium on Wednesday, Bangladesh set their score 129/7 in 20 overs it was really an easy target to achieve, But their bowlers really played well and successfully defended their by restricting the West Indies to 102 all out.

 

In the innings Bangladesh's started very shakily after losing the toss and west indies decided balling and being them sent to bat. During the fourth over they were already down by two wickets with captain of team Litton Das get back to the pavilion in just 3 runs. Tanzid Hasan followed out scoring only 2 run. The middle order also very struggled with Soumya Sarkar (11), Mehidy Hasan Miraz (26), and Rishad Hossain (0) departing so cheaply. 

 

At last Shamim Hossain turned the match towards the end with a brilliant knock of 36 out of 17 balls, by two sixes and four boundaries. He was came late but his batting score Bangladesh add 49 runs in the last five overs, giving to Bangladesh a competitive total of score 129. Other side Gudakesh Motie (2/25) and Akeal Hosein (1/16) were the pick of the West Indies bowlers. 

 

West Indies were nervous under the pressure as Taskin Ahmed dismantled their top order, he was taking two quick wickets, first one was Brandon King (8) and another one was Andre Fletcher (0). Mahedi Hasan joined in dismissing Johnson Charles (14) and Nicholas Pooran (5) to leave the score reeling at 42/6. 

 

Thereafter Roston Chase (32) and Akeal Hosein (33) good 47 runs partnership, but it wasn’t enough to rescue their team. Rishad Hossain came and broke the partnership by clean bowling Roston Chase, while in the 19th over Taskin Ahmed sealed win the match by dismissing Hosein.
